Miles can be refunded only in two cases:
- in case of airline fault
- passenger’s serious illness. In this case you must provide medical certificates confirming inability to fly on the ticketed dates
In case you voluntary refuse to take an award flight, miles redeemed for booking an Award may not be returned. The airport taxes and fuel surcharges may be refunded to your card, provided that flight cancelation took place before the flight check-in closed, according to the rules of award fares.
